The Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley provides grants to dozens of organizations and projects each year. Grants range from $500 to $3000. The bulk of the funds that we distribute are raised through various special events such as the Kiwanis Fourth of July Parade in Danville. Kiwanis is committed to making a difference in the lives of all people living in our community.

The mission of the Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area (DSCBA) is to empower, inspire, and support people with Down syndrome, their families, and the community that serves them, while fostering awareness and acceptance in all areas of life. The DSCBA was established in 1998 and for 21 years has been seen as a go-to Bay Area resource for information and support for people with Down syndrome and their families.

The San Ramon Historic Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer organization established in 2001. It is committed to educating the community about early life in the San Ramon Valley and the preservation and protection of its historical buildings, structures and landscapes. Mobility Matters provides mobility management services throughout Contra Costa County by matching riders to transportation providers that meet their individual needs. MM operates volunteer driver programs that provide free, one-on-one, door-through-door rides for seniors and disabled veterans who cannot access other forms of transportation.

Teen Esteem educates and empowers students, educators, families and the community on challenges young people face, emphasizing the importance of respect for self and others. We deliver dynamic and engaging presentations addressing today's challenges students and parents face in school and at home. We educate and equip kids, parents, educators and the community with current, relevant information and tools to counteract the devastating effects of today’s youth culture, emphasizing the importance of resilience, empathy and respect. Our lasting, take-away message to students is that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, no one is disposable; everyone is unique and has value.

Loaves and Fishes addresses the issue of hunger. Contra Costa County has lower income neighborhoods especially along the Highway 4 corridor where the LFCC dining rooms are located (Pittsburg, Martinez, Antioch, Bay Point and Oakley). Our clients are not just homeless and the unemployed, many are very low to low income residents who are trying to make ends meet living in Contra Costa County. The mission of Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa is to provide community-based food programs and partner services that focus on basic needs. We nourish lives!

Monthly Miracles saves our neighbors from homelessness each month by mobilizing our Tri-Valley community through $1/month donations. Miracles are bridges that lead to long-term sustainability: housing, relocation, vehicle aid and homelessness prevention.

Set To Thrive seeks to ease the transition of children entering the foster care system with a custom bag filled with new essential items to bring some comfort and confidence during a vulnerable time.
We are a volunteer only program so all monies go directly to our Thrive Bag program.
